Media Release - SHOMIGO ANNOUNCES NEXT-LEVEL SUMMER MARKET AT ROY THOMSON HALL THIS JULY
June 19, 2024, Toronto, ON – Shomigo, a local marketplace that connects a community of shoppers with unique products from a diverse range of local, small businesses announces its third market this July at Toronto landmark, Roy Thomson Hall. Locals and visitors are invited to discover a curated selection of 75 vendors each weekend, including fashion, jewelry, artists, home décor, handmade crafts, artisanal goods, vintage finds, plus delicious food and beverages.
Entrepreneur and Shomigo Founder Alykhan Kara shares, "For Shomigo’s third market, we chose Roy Thomson Hall - a stunning and iconic Toronto landmark, offering both vendors and attendees a central and easily accessible location. We strive to design next-level markets and we’re excited to be hosting the first market of its kind at the internationally renowned venue Roy Thomson Hall - a striking space that allows us to expand our market size and open the doors to thousands of locals and tourists.”
Visitors to Shomigo’s summer market can expect both replicate and different vendors throughout the three July weekends, with a line-up of fan favourites including Lost in the Sauce, Milton Timeless Quilting, NeoNaturelle, Zupo Studio, Rewickeme, Papricots and Hides in Hands.
The market will also feature interactive arts and crafts, live music, workshops, DIY crafts, photo booths, face painting, and a games section featuring mini shuffleboard and a giant Jenga, making this a family-friendly event.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of tastes from local vendors including Cupcake Land, Mofu, Selicious Teas and Pika Pika Foods.
